Capt Mike Murphy, an Eastern Shore native born in Cambridge, Md., has been a U.S.C.G. licensed Captain and Maryland fishing guide  specializing in Light Tackle and Fly Fishing charters since 1989.
      He has appeared on several national and regional television fishing shows, most notably Mark Sosin's Salt Water Journal and has hosted some well known fly fishing legends such as Lefty Kreh and Bob Clouser .  
      But there is still no greater thrill to him than taking someone fishing for their first time or catching their biggest fish ever, while on his boat.
      The "Tide Runner" is a 25 ft. Parker Sport Cabin powered by a 225 hp. Yamaha 4 stroke engine. The modified-vee hull and 9 1/2 ft beam makes it a stable fishing boat, with ample room for up to 4 anglers, while only drawing 14 in. of water. This hull design allows us to fish the shallow flats of the Honga River and Tangier Sound, and still be able to handle the open waters of the Chesapeake Bay.
     Equipped with full electronics and meeting Coast Gaurd safety requirements, it's well stocked with over 20 Fly, Spin, and Bait casting rods and reels.
